STEM CURRICULUM
Sayda STEM Curriculum is a forward-looking educational framework designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly technological and innovation-driven world. Grounded in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, the curriculum integrates theory with hands-on, project-based learning to ensure that students not only understand core concepts but also know how to apply them to solve real-world problems.
FOUNDATION phase (STEM)

Sayda Tutorial Institute embraces the framework of the National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement. Our Foundation Phase (Grades R-3), STEM subjects are integrated into existing subjects like Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills, rather than being taught as separate, distinct subjects. This means that concepts from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are introduced and developed through these core subjects, fostering foundational skills for later STEM learning.

Sayda Tutorial Institute's Intermediate Phase (Grade 4-6), STEM subjects include Mathematics, and Natural Sciences and Technology, which are taught as separate subjects. These subjects are build upon the foundation laid in the Foundation Phase (Grades R-3) and prepare students for the Senior Phase.

Additionally, we offer Computer Applications Technology, Information Technology, or specific engineering and science specializations.

Our school provide opportunities for STEM development through extracurricular activities like coding clubs, robotics competitions, and science fairs. Our Further Education and Training (FET) STEM subjects include various science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines. Our key STEM subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics (or Mathematical Literacy), Information Technology, Computer Science, and subjects related to engineering like Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering.
